Tiger Airways has destinations in India, Southern China and Cambodia in its targets and the carrier has just received the go-ahead from Singaporean authorities to start flying to Kolkata in India according to CNA. In response Tiger Airways plans to more than double its fleet from four to nine aircraft, taking delivery of all five aircraft in 2006. The flights to Kolkata will commence as soon as formal approval is received from Indian authorities.
