Nok Air adds Nakhon Si Thammarat

According to this Bangkok Post story, Nok Air is adding Nakhon Si Thammarat in southern Thailand to its list of domestic destinations in Thailand. The airline will operate two return flights from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat from Oct 30 with a daily morning flight, and an evening flight Monday to Thursday, according to CE Patee Sarasin. Nakhon Si Thammarat becomes the fifth destination in Nok Air’s network which now serves Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket and Udon Thani from Bangkok. Other routes that Nok Air has its eye on include Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son, Bangkok to Phitsanulok and Bangkok to Trang. For passengers flying between Oct 30 and Dec 31, the fare to Nakhon Si Thammarat will range from 1,250 and 2,000 baht net one way for all flights except the evening flight from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Bangkok, which will cost 990 to 1,500 baht net.
