Changi opens budget air terminal

General news

AFP reports that Singapore has opened its budget air terminal for LCCs, just days after Southeast Asia’s first such facility started operating in Malaysia. While only Tiger Airways has committed to use the terminal so far, analysts have said the region’s low cost airline sector is set to continue its phenomenal growth with the opening of the two dedicated no-frills terminals.
