Jetstar Asia to reduce fleet size further
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that as Jetstar Asia continues to hemorrhage money it is planning to palm off two of its A320s and ask shareholders for a S$36million cash injection. Laying blame at its continuing inability to gain landing rights — particularly in China — the airline has also suggested ditching the Valuair branding, though it is unclear how this will affect the airline’s ability to fly into Indonesia.
