Bernama reports that Air Asia will start gradual operations at Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi Airport from Monday, with all flights operated by its Thai subsidiary, Thai Air Asia. All Thai Air Asia flights bearing code “FD” will depart and land at the region’s newest airport. Other flights operated by Air Asia with code “AK” will still use the Don Muang before moving to Suvarnabhumi, which will commence full commercial operations on Thursday, Thai Air Asia officials said.
