Tiger buys 8 new A320s
AP reports that Tiger plans to buy eight new Airbus A320 aircraft at a bookprice of over US$500m. The carrier said that delivery of the new aircraft will begin in 2008 and be completed in 2010. Tiger currently has seven A320s, with two more due to arrive before the end of 2006, and a further three scheduled for delivery in 2007.
