Wheelchairs not welcome on Tiger

TodayOnline reports that a Singaporean passenger in a wheelchair was turned away from the aircraft after counter staff said if the pilot saw the passenger he’d reject them. While the airline later said it was due to the airport not having airbridges, this is becoming a disturbing trend amongst budget carriers as they continue to try to drive their costs down.
