Don Muang to reopen

General news

The Bangkok Post reports that the AoT (Airports of Thailand) Thursday approved the use of Don Muang for domestic flights with no international connections and set March 15 as the possible date for the relaunch of services at the old airport. The March 15 date has been picked in the hope that the airport will be operating at full strength before the Songkran break.

No word on any kind of rapid transport set-up between the two airports — should be interesting.
