AirAsia plans to undercut Jetstar

The Age reports that AirAsia plans to commence flights between Malaysia and Australia one day before Jetstar’s inaugrual flight. CEO Fernandes went on to say that he’d be flying to Newcastle before Sydney due to the very high landing fees at Sydney International Airport.
