Tiger orders more jets
The Age reports that Tiger has ordered up to 50 extra Airbus A320s for its upcoming launch into the Australian domestic market. Tiger signed a MoU for 30 Airbus A320s with a further 20 options. The deal will boost its fleet of nine A320s with 11 more on order. Tiger CE Tony Davis said the new A320s would be deployed around the airline’s regional network in SE Asia, including Australia when it begins domestic services later this year.
