Tiger Airways to set up airline in South Korea
Bloomberg reports that Tiger Airways will set up an airline in South Korea in partnership with the Incheon city govt to take advantage of growing passenger traffic in Asia. Tiger will own 49% of the carrier and the Incheon city govt the remainder. The new airline will be called Incheon Tiger Airways. No talk on routes so far, but given Cambodia’s huge popularity with South Koreans, Phnom Penh or Siem Reap are probably on the short list.
