Lion Air adds Hong Kong
Xinhua reports that Lion Air will open a new route from Surabaya to Hong Kong in December using its new 737-900ERs. “Our targetted passengers are hundreds of thousands of migrant workers and tourists” said Lion Air spokesman Hasyim Arsal Alhabsi. Lion Air said in October it would increase its purchase of Boeing 737-900 to 122 in a new deal to be signed in December from an initial order of 60.
