Jetstar’s international share increases
The Australian reports that a year after beginning its long-haul international operations, these now account for over 5% of international travel to and from Australia. A primary reason for Jetstar’s international launch was to stop the slide in the Qantas Group’s share of the international market into and out of Australia. It appears to have succeeded, with the group market share now stabilised at about 32%.
