The Nation reports that Don Muang airport is now unlikely to reopen as not enough airlines indicated an interest in moving back there — despite an earlier announcement that the airport would reopen! What a fiasco.

The Nation reports that Thailand’s Transport Ministry has decided to allow non-connecting domestic flights to use Don Muang airport. It said it would take between 45 day and 60 days to prepare Don Muang to accept flights and international flights will continue to use Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The Bangkok Post reports that aviation analysts have said Thailand was likely to see continued sharp growth, at an annual double-digit rate, in LCC traffic.
