Valuair
Based in Singapore, Valuair began operations in May 2004 and flies its fleet of new Airbus A320s to Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali. Valuair was the first of the budget operators to be consolidated and is for all intents and purposes now a part of the Jetstar Group.
That said there are a few factors which differentiate Valuair from some of the other budget carriers in Southeast Asia. They have assigned seating in a looser configuration, complimentary meals and you get 20kg of baggage allowance compared to the industry norm of 15kg.
